REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit secures your spot in the project schedule and compensates Help Darling for time reserved on your behalf. In extenuating circumstances — at Help Darling's sole discretion — a deposit credit toward a future project may be offered. This is not guaranteed and is evaluated case by case.
Project Cancellations
If you choose to cancel your project after work has begun, the following applies:
- Cancelled before the halfway point: 50% of the total project fee is retained by Help Darling. Any amount paid beyond the deposit will be refunded up to that threshold.
- Cancelled at or after the halfway point: 100% of the total project fee is retained by Help Darling. No refund will be issued.
The halfway point is determined by Help Darling based on work completed relative to the agreed scope, confirmed in writing at the time of cancellation.
Completed Projects & Digital Deliverables
No refunds are issued once the project has been completed and delivered. This includes but is not limited to: live Shopify stores, transferred credentials, delivered design files, completed copywriting, and any other digital assets handed off to the Client.
Once deliverables are in your hands, the project is considered complete and final.
VIP Day & SOS Hour
VIP Day and SOS Hour sessions follow the same cancellation policy as full project packages. If you need to reschedule a booked session, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice forfeit the full session fee.
Scope Changes
Requests to significantly change the project scope after work has begun are not eligible for a refund on work already completed. Scope changes are treated as new work and quoted separately.
How to Cancel
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to tasha@helpdarling.com. Verbal cancellations are not accepted. The cancellation date is the date the written notice is received.
