    Let's Talk

    Quick call, email, text, or interpretive dance, we'll figure it out. We'll chat and see what you need and if we're a good fit.

    Contract + Deposit

    I'll send over a contract and invoice for your deposit. Once both are signed and sorted, you're locked in.

    Third

    Homework

    Fill out a quick questionnaire so I understand your business, your goals, and your "no, darling" list. Gather your copy, photos, and brand assets.

    Fourth

    Design Direction

    I'll put together a moodboard and design direction based on everything you've shared — colors, fonts, the whole vibe. You'll get a chance to weigh in before we move into building.

    Fifth

    The Build

    This is where it all comes together — pages, branding, copy, the whole site. I'll keep you updated along the way.

    Sixth

    Launch

    You'll review everything and use your included round(s) of revisions to make sure it's exactly right. Then your site goes live — and you'll have post-launch support (length depends on your package) if anything needs a little extra attention afterward.

    Do you offer payment plans?

    Yes. Three options:

    Shop Pay — apply at checkout for instant approval.

    In-House — 50% deposit to begin.
    Remaining balance due before launch.

    Klarna or Affirm — download their app, get approved, then select "other store" and check out on Help Darling as you would with any credit card.
    Can't you just build me something completely custom? 

    We can but fully custom builds are a bit like buying a boat. High maintenance, expensive to run, and something always needs fixing.

    Every theme in the Shopify theme store has been heavily scrutinized by Shopify before it gets listed. They come with built-in support, maintenance and updates.

    A well-chosen theme customized with intention looks fully custom because the work is in knowing what to change and how to do it. 
     Do you offer marketing and SEO?

    Help Darling specializes in design, development and branding. Our packages include basic on-page SEO but we don't guarantee rankings.

    You know what they say, Jack of all trades, master of none. We'd rather be really, really  good at one thing.
    Will updating my website myself be difficult?

    Shopify is the biggest and best e-commerce platform on the market for many reasons. Ease of use is one of them. Their full library of tutorials has you covered for almost anything.

    On top of that we provide a full video walkthrough or PDF after launch so you know exactly how your store works and where everything lives.

    Are there any extra fees?

    From us? No. But a few things fall outside the project cost:

    Shopify theme — if your package requires a premium theme, this is purchased separately.

    Branding and photography — product shoots, photography supplies, and any additional brand assets.

    Platform and app fees — Shopify subscription, Klaviyo, and any third party apps we install.

    We'll always be upfront about what's needed before we begin. No surprises.
