The Details
Now that you've had a look,
here 's the nitty gritty
The Client
Hydrangea House is a lifestyle and home boutique in Panama City Beach, FL — curated home goods, gifts, and beautiful things, all entirely Britt's own.
Just a few doors down sits The Shops at Hydrangea House, previously The Marketplace — a multi-vendor marketplace showcasing local boutiques and artisans under one roof. Britt had just acquired it and was ready to bring both brands online the right way.
The Challenge
Hydrangea House had a website. The Shops was starting fresh. Both were ready to get serious about online sales. When we first spoke Britt was thinking two separate websites. I had a better idea.
The catch was the logos were already printed on shopping bags and signage. I had to build a cohesive dual-brand system around preexisting assets, make them feel intentional, and create enough distinction between sister brands that shared the same DNA without them being the same.
The Build
A dual-store custom toggle banner that switches between both brands without ever leaving the page. Two completely different stores, one cart, one backend.
The logos were preexisting and already printed on bags, cards, and signage. I refined the color palette, cleaned up the brand system, helped renamed the sister store, restructured the backend, came dual-store logic, and wrote the copy across both.
